Before you start: you need SOL in your wallet
This is the step most people miss. Withdrawing from the LP doesn't pay its own fees, and depending on what you receive back, you may need a second step to fully convert your position to SOL.
You need a small amount of SOL already in your wallet to pay network fees (typically well under 0.01 SOL total). Your LP position cannot pay for its own withdrawal. If your wallet is empty, the transaction will fail before anything can move.
Quick checklist before you begin:
Wallet connected to Solana mainnet
At least ~0.01 SOL sitting in your wallet for fees
You understand you may receive a mix of SOL and mSOL (see below)
What you'll receive when you withdraw
The LP holds both SOL and mSOL, and you're withdrawing your proportional share of whatever the pool currently holds. That means you may receive:
Mostly SOL (most common today, since the pool is inactive)
A mix of SOL and mSOL
Mostly mSOL (less common now)
If you receive any mSOL and want it as SOL, you can unstake it afterward on app.marinade.finance using either delayed unstake or instant unstake.
Option 1: Withdraw via old.marinade.finance (recommended)
The simplest path for most users.
Go to old.marinade.finance and connect your wallet.
Open the Liquidity Pool section and select Remove Liquidity.
Enter the amount of LP tokens you want to withdraw and confirm the transaction.
You'll receive SOL and/or mSOL back to your wallet based on the pool's current composition.
If you received any mSOL and want it converted to SOL, head to app.marinade.finance and unstake it.
Option 2: Withdraw via Quarry (if you staked LP tokens to earn rewards)
If you staked your LP tokens on Quarry to farm MNDE, you'll need to unstake them there first.
Connect your wallet to Quarry.
Claim any pending MNDE rewards.
Unstake your LP tokens from the quarry. This returns the LP tokens to your wallet, not SOL or mSOL.
Now follow Option 1 above to withdraw the underlying assets from the LP.
Still stuck?
If a transaction fails, the most common cause is insufficient SOL in the wallet for fees. Top up with a small amount of SOL and retry.
