Marinade

MetaMask has native Solana support, so you can stake on Marinade directly from your MetaMask wallet without installing any add-ons.

MetaMask added native Solana support to its Extension in May 2025. The previous integration through the Solflare Solana Snap has been sunset by Solflare as of May 11, 2026. If you are still using the Snap-based flow, switch to native MetaMask or import your recovery phrase into Solflare directly.

MetaMask Extension: Version 12.18 or later.

Solana account in MetaMask: Either created during onboarding or added from the account menu. Your Solana address is derived from your existing Secret Recovery Phrase.

Open the Marinade App: <a href="https://app.marinade.finance/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://app.marinade.finance/</a>

Select MetaMask from the wallet list. Do not select any "Snap" or "Solflare via MetaMask" option.

Approve the connection request in the MetaMask popup. Make sure the active account is your Solana account, not an EVM account.

1. Open the Marinade App: <a href="https://app.marinade.finance/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://app.marinade.finance/</a>
2. Click Connect Wallet.
3. Select MetaMask from the wallet list. Do not select any "Snap" or "Solflare via MetaMask" option.
4. Approve the connection request in the MetaMask popup. Make sure the active account is your Solana account, not an EVM account.

Once connected, the Marinade App will display your SOL balance and stake accounts.

If MetaMask Does Not Appear in the Wallet List

Update the Extension: Make sure you are on MetaMask Extension v12.18 or later.

Switch to the Solana account: Open MetaMask, open the account menu, and select your Solana account before clicking Connect Wallet on the Marinade App.

Refresh the page: Reload the Marinade App after updating MetaMask or switching accounts.

Solflare's Solana Snap is no longer supported. Two options:

Use native MetaMask: Make sure MetaMask is updated, then connect to Marinade as described above. Your Solana address remains the same.

Move to Solflare directly: Install the Solflare Extension or mobile app at <a href="https://www.solflare.com/download/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.solflare.com/download/</a>, import your MetaMask Secret Recovery Phrase, and connect to Marinade with Solflare.
