Marinade

MetaMask has native Solana support, so you can stake on Marinade directly from your MetaMask wallet without installing any add-ons.

MetaMask Extension: Version 13.5 or later.

MetaMask Mobile: Version 7.57 or later.

Solana account in MetaMask: Either created during onboarding or added from the account menu. Your Solana address is derived from your existing Secret Recovery Phrase.

Select MetaMask from the wallet list.

Approve the connection request in the MetaMask popup. Make sure the active account is your Solana account, not an EVM account.

1. Open the Marinade App: <a href="https://app.marinade.finance/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://app.marinade.finance/</a>
2. Click Connect Wallet.
3. Select MetaMask from the wallet list.
4. Approve the connection request in the MetaMask popup. Make sure the active account is your Solana account, not an EVM account.

Once connected, the Marinade App will display your SOL balance and stake accounts.

If MetaMask Does Not Appear in the Wallet List

Update MetaMask: Make sure you are on Extension version 13.5 or later, or Mobile version 7.57 or later. On an older version you have no Solana account in MetaMask, so MetaMask will not appear in the wallet list at all.

Switch to the Solana account: Open MetaMask, open the account menu, and select your Solana account before clicking Connect Wallet on the Marinade App.

Refresh the page: Reload the Marinade App after updating MetaMask or switching accounts.

- Update MetaMask: Make sure you are on Extension version 13.5 or later, or Mobile version 7.57 or later. On an older version you have no Solana account in MetaMask, so MetaMask will not appear in the wallet list at all.
- Switch to the Solana account: Open MetaMask, open the account menu, and select your Solana account before clicking Connect Wallet on the Marinade App.
- Refresh the page: Reload the Marinade App after updating MetaMask or switching accounts.

Note on the old Solflare Solana Snap: Solflare sunset the Snap on May 11, 2026. Native MetaMask uses the same Solana address derived from your Secret Recovery Phrase, so your balances and history are unchanged. If you prefer to use Solflare directly, install it from solflare.com/download and import your recovery phrase. Never type your recovery phrase into a website, and never send it to anyone, including anyone claiming to be Marinade support.

MetaMask's documentation states that Ledger-based Solana accounts cannot be connected to MetaMask. If your SOL is on a Ledger, connect through a Solana-native wallet instead, such as Phantom, Solflare or Backpack.
