USDC Vault withdrawals are instant and there is no lockup.
The yield your deposit earns compounds into your balance automatically, with nothing to claim and no action needed from you. Bonus rewards from campaigns are the exception and have to be claimed manually.
Withdrawing Your USDC
Go to app.marinade.finance and connect the wallet you deposited from.
Open Earn, then select the USDC Vault.
In the panel on the right, switch from Deposit to the Withdraw tab.
Enter the amount you want to withdraw, or click Max to withdraw the full position.
Click Withdraw and approve the transaction in your wallet. The USDC arrives in your wallet once it confirms.
Keep a small amount of SOL in your wallet to cover the network fee, even though you are withdrawing USDC.
The Withdraw now label with the lightning icon is there to confirm that the withdrawal is immediate. There is no choice to make: the USDC Vault has only one withdrawal mode, and no delayed equivalent to unstaking SOL.
Claim Your Bonus Rewards First
There are two different things earning in your position, and they behave differently:
Vault yield accrues automatically into your USDC balance. Nothing to claim. It is already included in the amount you withdraw.
Bonus rewards from campaigns are separate and must be claimed manually.
On the My position tab, look for a line reading "You've earned ... in bonus rewards" with a Claim all button. Claim these before withdrawing your full position, so you do not leave rewards behind.
FAQ
Q: Is there a withdrawal fee?
A: Marinade charges no deposit or withdrawal fee. The 5% performance fee applies only to the net interest your position earned, and it is already reflected in the APY you were shown.
Q: How long does it take?
A: One transaction. There is no waiting period, no epoch to wait for, and no delayed option. The USDC Vault does not follow Solana's staking epoch cycle.
Q: Do I need to claim my yield before withdrawing?
A: No. Vault yield is already part of your balance. Only campaign bonus rewards need claiming, and only if you have any showing as pending.
Q: Do I unstake USDC the same way I unstake SOL?
A: No. USDC is not staked SOL. It is withdrawn from the Earn section, not through the SOL unstake flow, and it is not subject to the epoch timing that applies to staked SOL.
Q: Where did my interest go?
A: Into your USDC balance. The vault compounds interest into the position rather than paying it out separately, so the balance you withdraw already includes it. Your My position tab shows the balance, estimated value, and total rewards earned.
If a Withdrawal Does Not Go Through
Your USDC is supplied to Kamino's lending markets, so withdrawals depend on liquidity being available there. This is rarely an issue, but during periods of very high utilization a withdrawal can be constrained.
Try a smaller amount, or try again shortly. If it persists, start a conversation with us. The app lists this as Liquidity risk under Strategy overview.
