Step 1: Visit the Marinade App
Go to https://app.marinade.finance to begin staking your SOL.
Step 2: Connect Your Wallet
Click Connect Wallet in the top-right corner of the screen and choose your preferred wallet provider. When prompted, approve the connection by clicking Connect.
Step 3: Stake Your SOL
You will land on the Marinade Native Staking page by default.
Enter the amount of SOL you want to stake.

You must stake at least 1 SOL.

Make sure to leave at least 0.03 SOL in your wallet to cover future transaction and priority fees.
⚠️ Note: Solana charges ~0.003 SOL for creating a token account for the first time. This is a blockchain-level fee, not charged by Marinade.
Option B: Migrate Stake (For existing native stakers)
If you’re already staking natively through your wallet, you can use the “Migrate stake” feature to switch to Marinade Native. This allows your SOL to be delegated across a diversified set of validators instead of a single one.
Step 4: Select a Delegation Strategy
Marinade Native offers two delegation strategies:

Max Yield: Stake is spread across 100+ bidding validators to optimize for the highest yield.

Select: Stake is delegated to a curated list of verified validators for more control.
Choose the option that best fits your preferences.
Boost Your Rewards with a Referral:
There is an ongoing referral campaign that allows you to earn an additional 0.125 basis points (bps) on your staking rewards when staking through a valid referral link. If you have one, be sure to use it to increase your yield.
Once you've selected your strategy and (optionally) used a referral, click the Stake button and approve the transaction in your wallet.
Step 5: Staking Confirmation
Congratulations! Your SOL is now staked!

For Native staking users: Your stake will begin earning rewards at the start of the next epoch.
