If you have been receiving USDG rewards but they have suddenly stopped, you may have closed your USDG token account.

A USDG token account is a Solana token account in your wallet that holds your USDG balance. It is required for our system to airdrop your rewards to you. Without an active USDG token account, we have no way to send your rewards.

Closing a token account is not something that happens by accident. It requires you to manually confirm a transaction in your wallet. This can happen if you use a wallet management feature that sweeps or closes empty or low-balance token accounts, or if you manually closed it yourself. Either way, once the account is closed, your rewards will stop.

To reopen your USDG token account, you need to receive any amount of USDG into your wallet. If you do not have another account to send USDG from, you can use a DEX such as Jupiter to swap a small amount into USDG. For example, swapping as little as 0.000001 USDC to USDG is enough to reopen the account. Once your account is active, your missed rewards will be airdropped to you automatically. No further action is needed.

Up to 2 weeks of missed rewards are preserved on-chain and will be automatically reclaimed for you once your account is reopened. However, if your account has been closed for longer than 2 weeks, any rewards beyond that window are permanently lost. This is why it is important to reopen your account as soon as possible.

Keep your USDG token account open at all times. If your wallet has an auto-close or token account management feature, make sure USDG is excluded. Closing the account will always result in missed rewards until it is reopened.
