If you no longer want your MNDE staked in governance, you can start the unstake process. Please note: unstaking takes 30 days to complete.
Follow these steps:
Visit Marinade’s Governance Page.
Connect your wallet where you staked MNDE.
Find your active MNDE position and click “Unstake.”
Enter the amount you want to unstake.
Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
Make sure you have at least 0.03 SOL in your wallet to cover the transaction fee.
Wait for confirmation.
You’ll see a message that your unstake request has been submitted.
Complete the 30-day cooldown.
After this period, return to the Governance page to withdraw your MNDE.
Alternative method: Unstake via Realms (if the governance page gets stuck)
If you’re having trouble unstaking on the Marinade governance site, you can also unstake directly from Realms.
Open Realms (Marinade DAO):

Go to Lock Tokens.
You should see your MNDE locking position(s) listed there.Start the unlock/unstake:
Select your position
Click the option to Begin Unlock / Start Unlock (wording may vary)
Approve the transaction in your wallet
Wait for the countdown (the unlock period) to finish.
Once the timer reaches zero, return to the same page and Withdraw to move the MNDE back to your wallet balance.
Troubleshooting
Don’t see your position under “Lock Tokens”?
Make sure you connected the correct wallet address
Try refreshing the page, or disconnect/reconnect the wallet
If you have multiple wallet accounts/profiles (or a hardware wallet), confirm you’re on the exact one used to lock MNDE
Multiple positions: you may need to unlock/withdraw each position separately.
Transactions failing: try a different RPC (if your wallet allows), or retry after a few minutes.
